Back From the AGDC

We are all back from a very successful and enjoyable AGDC. In addition to excellent keynote addresses from Bruce Shelly from Ensemble Studios (makers of Age of Empires) and Bruno Bonnell (Chairman and CEO of Infogrames) we were given sneak peeks at the single player Return to Castle Wolfenstein and Age of Mythology. There were plenty of good papers, a LAN-fest, a small but exciting expo and rather nice biscuits with the tea and coffee. The BigWorld technology made its first public appearance, slightly interrupted by a pair of city-wide power failures. Still, Steve and Simon soldiered on and everyone seemed suitably impressed, particularly with our marvellous trees.
Micro Forte Off To AGDC

Micro Forte is sending a happy contingent to the Australian Game Developer's Conference being held at the Melbourne Convention Centre from the 9th to the 11th of November. As well diving into the usual conference activities, Micro Forte employees will be giving a demonstration of the BigWorld MMOG Technology .

On Thursday we won the prestigious Telstra/ACT Government "Cisco Innovation Award" for the BigWorld Technology.
